Summer is definately here. We took a few hiking trips and looked for lizards etc. We got plenty of sun and mosquito bites. The Parkers also invited us out to Willow Creek for some sun. Nolan is swimming great thanks to the lessons dad's taken them too. He jumped off the board and went off the slide all by himself many times and we were all very proud of him. Caleb had plenty of fun too and was very attached to the ladybug.

I've gotten in the field a little bit these days and here are a few pictures from the last trip out. Saw 5 rattlesnakes, quail eggs, turkey hen and chicks, tree frogs, fence lizards, dragonflys and other cool stuff. Also saw a Luzuli's bunting but didn't get a shot.

We went on a fun trip to Benbow for the arts festival and went to a couple of river spots to play. The boys definintely love the river. They did some climbing, swimming and exploring. The best part was when Caleb fooled me by putting a rock in the back of his shorts and told me he pooped his pants. I totally fell for it and had them laughing for quite awhile. The boys loved the jugglers, outfits and belly dancers.

We've done a lot of other random things like play with legos, collect tadpoles and watch them turn into frogs, fill water balloons and jump on the trampoline and work in the garden.
Caleb graduated from preschool and got his diploma. They boys played outside afterward and climbed all over this tree.

Nolan made an ocean scene, we're building a fort still and the chickens are doing great.

Nolan played a squirrel in the school's production of Willy Wonka and did a great job. He's getting much less shy.
