My first electric fence I've put up appears to be working. Fugs the pig got to root around in the field and get out of his muddy pen. I didn't take any pics though. Here he is in his mudhole.

Gia loves the pond. There are a lot of tadpoles right now that love it too. Polly the polypay sheep meets Shiloh the horse.

I gave up on trying to get the milk into a container for awhile and just practiced my technique (kind of improving)

A couple of pictures of the growing farm. We're up to 7 goats, 1 sheep, 2 pigs, 2 ducks, 1 cat, 1 dog, 2 horses and 7 chickens though not all of them are actually mine. Tried goat milking and I'm not very good at it. The ducks seem about ready to get broody. Got a small garden started at the Mckinleyville place and a huge garden about to go in at the farm too.

Panky is queen of the farm yard. I won't get her dehorned at this age and her horns, size and pluck keep her in charge.

Snow is the most passive of all of them, but very pretty and sweet. Ally is into everything and pretty determined to be the next queen of the farm.

Black Lightening pretends like Fugs is picking on her and stealing food so we give her more. It worked for awhile, but we're onto her game now.

Too the boys to the Skunk trail to see some cool plants and get some exercise. We found some Lycopodium, an ancient plant from the days of the dinosaurs, before flowering plants were even around.

Some fairy bells and beautiful mushrooms and a heart-shaped sorrel leaf.

Caleb sings some funny songs...
